Who we are
Karbon is a software studio in Tripoli, Libya. To reach us about your data, call 0935888848.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into the site’s forms, plus a little technical data needed to protect it:
- Demo request: name, phone or WhatsApp number, organization, city, preferred contact method, note, and the system you asked about.
- Contact form: name, phone number, email if you give one, and your message.
- Project configurator: business type, chosen modules and platforms, size, timing and budget if chosen, with the same contact details.
- A hashed fingerprint of your IP address (SHA-256 with a secret salt), to limit spam. We never store the IP address itself.
- The page your visit started on, the site you came from (without any link parameters), and UTM parameters if present.
What stays in your browser
The project configurator saves your progress in your browser (localStorage) so you can finish later; it is cleared after you send it, or after 30 days. The site keeps where your visit came from in the browser session (sessionStorage) only. Neither reaches us unless you send a request.
The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel’s visit statistics work without cookies.
Why we use it
To contact you about your request, to protect the forms from automated spam, and to learn which pages bring requests. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: stores requests (data centre in Ireland).
- Resend: emails us a notice of each request.
- Telegram: an instant notice of each request, if enabled.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that the sender is not a bot.
- Vercel: hosts the site and counts visits.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for 12 months after we last spoke with you, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion by calling 0935888848, and we will reply.
